We Believe...
...
in the infallibility of the Word of God.
Why Should We Read the Bible?
The Bible tells us what we need to know to be saved.
( More on Salvation
Here )
If you have been filled with the Holy Spirit (and
thus become a member of the church) a good proportion of the New
Testament is written to you.
The Bible guides the non-believer to salvation and
the Christian in how to walk their new life. It is truly a "lamp
to our feet and a light for our path".
The Bible is a prominent feature in a Revival Centre
meeting. You are encouraged to bring a Bible to our meetings and
follow the Scriptures as they are read and then expounded.

Other Evidence that the Bible is Authentic
A consistent unfolding message - despite the fact the
Bible was written over a period of about 1500 years by over 40
different authors there is a consistency and deep unity that shows
the hand of its ultimate Author.

the Bible is a faithful guide
Relevance - it contains up-to-the-minute insight into
humanity and a relevance to our needs that has spoken to people
over thousands of years. It can lead you today in how to enter
into a direct relationship with your Creator.

more up-to-date than
tomorrow's newspaper
Accuracy - the Bible speaks of the earth as round when
everybody considered it to be flat. The Bible describes the water
cycle in a section written 3000 years ago. The Bible refers to
peoples whose existence has only been confirmed by recent archeology.
Even the much-maligned account of creation in Genesis follows
the order of the creation of plants, sea creatures, animals and
human beings that is expected by science.
Prophecy - the Bible predicts a great number of events.
It has predicted the outcome of battles, the destruction of cities
and the rise and fall of great world powers down through history.
There are hundreds of prophecies foretelling events in the life
of Jesus in great detail, made hundreds of years before they happened.

The Bible speaks of events
before they happen

From the Bible
All scripture is
given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine,
for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished
unto all good works.

Timothy 3:16-17
