Did you know that much of the New Testament of the Bible is written to people who have already received the Holy Spirit? This essential experience is described in the Bible. Jesus said believers would speak in new tongues (languages they had not learnt). At the instant of the church's beginning 2000 years ago, all 120 of the waiting disciples had this miraculous experience as they were filled with the Holy Spirit.

The Bible tells us that it is Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who died for us, rose again and who gives us the Holy Spirit. Jesus called receiving the Holy Spirit "the promise of the Father".

God has not changed. You should not settle for anything less than this God-given, Bible-based confirmation of your believing. The testimony of our church is that everyone who asks for the Holy Spirit, with the Bible evidence of speaking in new tongues, receives this life-transforming experience.

On the day the church began, Peter the Apostle preached to a large crowd about Jesus' death and resurrection. They asked him "What must we do?"

Peter's reply was simple and direct:

Repent
Think again - decide to do what God said

Be baptised
Be fully immersed in water as a symbol of your old life being dead and buried

Receive the Holy Spirit
God will answer you directly and definitely. You will speak in tongues just as the disciples of Jesus did.
