It's been a while since I've seen your face

Well I can hardly remember , the last time you were seen
And every now and then I hear something, and run to see if it's you
But I'm constantly reminded that I'm here without you

I don't have to say goodbye 'cause I know that you didn't leave
And I don't have to sit and cry 'cause I know that you are asleep
And Jesus said that when I rise that you will be with me
And that's what I hang onto, is that you're sleeping

So while you're sleeping I go on
To overcome everyday
And sooner rather than later
With Jesus we will stay

Sometimes you feel lonely, and sometimes you could cry
But Jesus died already and now death is a lie
