I had a fear of death and was looking for a meaning of life on earth.

After attending many churches, I went to a Revival Centre meeting and realised that this was what I was searching for. I was baptised by full immersion in water and received the Holy Spirit and the Lord took away my fear and I had peace and joy in my life.

The Lord has worked wonderfully in my life and I have been miraculously healed by the power of God a number of times. We have also seen our children healed.

Our daughter was born with a serious heart defect. We prayed and the Lord

healed her. Our son developed epilepsy when he was four years old. We prayed and the Lord healed him also.

Three years ago, I found a lump on my breast which was removed and I was told that I had middle-stage breast cancer and that if I did not have further surgery and chemotherapy, I would not survive more than five years. We prayed and the Lord healed me. When I had the required surgery, the cancer was removed and I did not need any further treatment.

The Lord provides for all our needs and answers all our prayers.

Surgery was planned to remove my spleen. I was prayed for and was immediately able to breathe freely. No more restriction in movement and the following day all pain was gone. Within 3 days I was back at work. I had been miraculously healed. No surgery was required. In 26 years I have never had any after effects.

I also suffered a back injury at work. My lower back gave way under a heavy load with a sound like fluid being shaken. I was unable to move freely and subsequently underwent about 12 months of chiropractic adjustments, sometimes 3 times a week.

As a result of the healing of my spleen, I went to a Revival Centre meeting where I was baptised and received the Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues. That same evening my back was instantly and completely healed.

I never visited the chiropractor again.

The workmate who told him God could heal his alcoholism, also told us that our son, born with a hole in the heart, could be healed.

Doctors had wanted to perform open heart surgery when he was 3 years old, but I couldn’t take the risk that he might not survive the operation.

He suffered fevrial convulsions from 11 months old; it distressed me to see him turn blue and be continually sick. He spent most of his time in and out of hospital.

Finally, doctors told me it was my fault. I was a bad mother.

When my husband was baptised, I went along too, mainly in the hope of healing for our son. I was also baptised by full immersion that day and spoke in tongues as I received the Holy Spirit.

We laid hands on our son and not knowing what to say, just praying in tongues, trusting that God knew the earnest desire we had that our son be healed. He was instantly and completely healed.

The night that I received the Holy Spirit I had another miracle. I had been wearing a back brace for some months and was in continual pain. My husband would often come home to find me lying on the bed crying with the pain.

I awoke completely healed. I took off my brace and have not worn it in 20 years.

In 1997, we noticed that Phebe was having brief behavioural changes which were diagnosed as complex, partial, epileptic seizures. We prayed for her and believed that the Lord would take care of her and resolve this problem.

Because Phebe was having as many as seven seizures in a day, the doctors advised us to monitor her

behaviour and it was arranged for her to have an Electroencephalogram (EEG) and a brain scan.

We continued to believe that the Lord had the matter in hand.

The EEG showed no sign of epilepsy and the brain scan was unnecessary. Phebe has had no further signs of epileptic behaviour since the EEG was done.

We thank the Lord for his healing of our daughter and for the personal comfort and reassurance he gives us when situations such as this occur.

We have a son who was severely beaten and left in a coma. The hospital doctors expected him to die

or at the very best be a vegetable when he was taken off life support systems.

The church prayed for him and his recovery was remarkable. The hospital staff called him the miracle boy.

Through this experience we know that our God can do all things.

Learning to walk was slow and difficult, I was 5 years old before I walked confidently. Talking was harder still. Unable to hear Th,S, Ch, F, T, sounds I couldn’t distinguish words or speak normally.

At 4 years old, I was wearing a hearing aid and at 12, I was wearing two. If I didn’t wear my hearing aids, my speech became slurred and unintelligible since I couldn’t hear my pronunciation.

At 23, I was baptised in the Revival Centres and received the Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues. Although I was aware of many people being miraculously healed, I was thought I was OK, I had learned to make do.

When I was expecting my first baby I became worried what if I couldn’t hear my baby cry. I prayed earnestly for my hearing to be healed. Over a few months I heard birds singing, taps dripping, the telephone ringing, even cicadas in summer. I no longer needed my hearing aids at all.

Now I can hear all the things that I never could before.

The bleeding however, persisted and worsened over several months. After the insertion of a white dye and taking X-Rays it was confirmed that Christopher had polyps which would require colonoscopy to remove.

In 1991 my best friend told me that God could heal my son. She talked about her church, the Revival Centres

International, where people had a personal experience of the power of God. I was baptised by full immersion and received the Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues.

In 1992, when Christopher was 6 years old he went into hospital to have the surgery. I had prayed earnestly and asked God to heal my son. After surgery, the specialist came to me completely perplexed — the polyps, so obvious on the X-Rays had vanished. He searched carefully and concluded thet — “they must have fallen off.” I have the X-Rays to remind me of the wonderful healing God provided for my son.

After prayer and the laying on of hands of the elders of the church, I went into hospital for the surgery, confident that my future was in God’s care. I was told I would have black eyes and that my face would be traumatised from the operation.

Some bone and tissue was removed, but my face was not traumatised and my recovery was remarkable without chemotherapy.

In mid 1995, tests showed that there was another tumor in the same area. The prospect of further surgery was something I dreaded. We prayed most earnestly for a complete healing without surgery.

The next tests showed that the tumor had vanished. We have the medical records to remind us of how miraculously and wonderfully God proved himself to our family.

He truly is a God who hears and answers prayer.

With my Coptic orthodox upbringing, I was very sceptical and argued for nearly 10 years that such things seemed to be too extreme.

Although I believed in God, I was never a regular church goer. It just never seemed all that important or relevant in my life.

In 1996, my doctor told me that I must have urgent and immediate surgery for a malignant prostate. My life was in real danger. My friend again invited me to his church. People are healed as they are prayed for — what have I got to lose.

Still sceptical, I went to a meeting and although feeling apprehensive, I went forward for prayer. As we prayed I felt instantly well.

I insisted that my doctor arrange further blood tests. He thought that I was being very foolish. The blood tests revealed no cancer. I had been miraculously healed.

As a result, I was baptised by full immersion, the Bible way; and received the Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues.

Everything my friend had told me was true and now I enjoy a new life as a result of God working a miracle and proving himself to me.

When I was two years old, I was diagnosed as having congenital dislocated hips. I had no hip sockets and had to go through many operations, which failed to restore my hips successfully. As well as having an awkward gait, I frequently suffered discomfort and pain. When I reached the age of ten years, the doctors said that the only answer to my problem was to have a total hip reconstruction. I did not want another operation so my family and I prayed about this, and continued to believe that the Lord would heal me.

One night at a church christmas camp at Hall’s Gap, the Lord miraculously healed my body. As I lay in bed talking to my best friend, about the wonderful things the Lord has done for us, I felt a sudden pull on my leg and it clicking into place. I sat up and cried out with joy, “my hips are healed”. I jumped out of bed and looked at my hip. The lump that had been there had totally
disappeared.

The next morning I was walking perfectly straight and I thank and praise the Lord every day for healing me.
