Mary Waria

When I attended my first Revival Centre meeting I knew, felt and saw the presence of God there. Something I'd never felt or seen in my previous denominational church. I was only 10 years old but I knew the people had an experience, faith, peace and joy.

My oldest brother had brought me here. He'd been Spirit-filled and attending church for a couple of years, he was a changed person and I knew he couldn't have done it himself. As I attended a couple of Sunday School classes the children and teachers all spoke of seeking to receive the Holy Spirit (a gift and personal experience). This excited me, I got baptised and received the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

I thank God for my life, my brethren and my natural and spiritual family. We have an incredible unity. Here I am some 25 years later, God still in my life with an experience that's never left me, a Father and friend I can call on. A guide and healer in my life. God has kept me safe, healthy and happy. He has a plan for me and I want Him in my life. I've always had a home, fellowship and work. I've had the opportunity to travel and fellowship with saints all over the world. I thank the Lord for that.

My life is a little different to normal but I know the Lord has it planned and as long as I look to Him, He will guide me and keep me.
