Ash D

picHi my name is Ash, I was brought up in the revival centres from childhood and received the holy spirit with the bible evidence of speaking in tongues in 1992. Not really knowing what I had I decide to leave the fellowship soon after. I started to pursue a life with friends outside the church and soon found myself with a very serious drug problem. After years of abuse, something inside me told me that this was wrong, and that God did not intend this life for me. But no matter how hard I tried I could not kick the habit. Finally, one night my parents and I got down on our knees and prayed for a much needed healing. The next morning I felt an inner peace and no desire at all for the drugs, and the remains the same till this day. Soon after that I come back to the fellowship to live by Gods word. There is such a peace knowing that I have a relationship with God and if it be good times or trials, which we all experience during our life, I know that I can call upon the Lord. Praise the Lord.

Nathan K

picHi, My name's Nathan. I was brought along to RCI by my parents from the age of... well... before I can remember. As a Child I was taught about God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit and what the Revival Centers Stood for. I recieved the Holy Spirit for Myself, with the Bible evidence of speaking in tongues, when I was 10 years old and got baptised soon after. Growing up I've done things that all reckless children do, falling off bikes included... Many Times. But whatever scrape I find myself in I can just put it to the Lord and somehow things will heal faster or won't be as bad as first thought. It's funny how many times things seem to just work themselves out. Now I am Married to a spirit filled partner and make my own choices in life, It's great to have someone with a like-mind to pray with during tough times and share the blessing with on the other side.

Josh

pichey there! Josh here, praising the Lord for filling me with his holy spirit! It was my thirteenth birthday and I had been seeking the Lord for quite some time, my assembly was camping at Wye River and I spoke out in a new tounge, a whole new language I'd never learn before, while praying with a pastorduring a sunday meeting. I was baptised the next at the beach. I have walked with Jesus inside me everyday from then on, its been awesome! I've had various healings, many lucky breaks and have seen the lords hand working in everything I put to him. Time and time again the lord has shown me that he often has a plan too amazing for me to have considered, I am constantly reminded to trust in him every situation and not to lean to my own understanding. Praise the Lord.

picLife is good and I have the Lord to thank for it. I was ten when I received God's Holy Spirit and I knew because I spoke in a language that I hadn't been taught, just like the bible says. The next Sunday I was baptised by full emersion. My life before this point wasn't bad, as not much can go wrong when you're ten, but it has definitely been awesome since. My biggest blessing occurred when I was 15 when I had a bike accident, did a couple of flips and broke my fall with my face. A spirit-filled member of the church saw it all and prayed for me straight away. I looked in a bad way and the doctors suspected spinal damage. Apart from a gap in my smile I was good as new within a couple of weeks. God protected me then and I know he will continue to do so.

picI was lucky enough to be born into a family that already knew God and attended Revival Centres. It was at the age of six that I stood up and said to my parents "I want to seek for the Holy Spirit!" I attended a seekers meeting and after 10 minutes of thinking about how much I loved the Lord, I started speaking in tongues . I was stoked! The Lord blesses me in all that I do. Everyday I'm in awe at the things he has done. At the end of 2005 everything began to feel stagnant to me in turn negatively affecting all areas of my life. Well I put it to God, in prayer, and entered 2006 believing he'd make things happen. Within a week I was offered to cover annual leave in a fabulous role I'll be qualified for at the completion of my course. Well, I loved it! - it suited my life down to a tee and I couldn't wait till I had a job like it. Well after their leave, the person, whose job it was, chose not to return . and I got the job! God's known what I needed before I have and is continuing to bless my life. I've never been happier!

picI can certainly praise the Lord. I received the Holy Spirit with the bible evidence of speaking in tongues about 15 years ago. Looking back at my life now at the age of 24 I can see the many blessing and miracles God has given me. One of the strongest is my career. Back in high school I struggled with what career I wanted to do "when I grow up" and finally settled on the idea of an IT related career. Only problem was that I was terrible at maths and all my teachers advised me that I would never be able to study computers because of how heavily focused on maths it was and they directed me to pick up a trade instead. Well I can safely say that through prayer and the power of the Lord I found an IT course that was perfectly suited to me and was also provided a great job not a month after I completed my course.

picWell, where do I start? When I was 18 I lived a pretty normal life for some one my age. I had left home on the NSW South Coast and moved to Brisbane with my Girlfriend. I had a decent job and was pretty happy. You know, one of those situations where you can see everyday of you life stepped out before you. This was, of course, turned on its head. Within a month, my Girlfriends father passed away (I was quite close to him) and the family pressures caused us to break up. This left me alone in a city where I knew no-one and had the financial pressures of a couple with rent, car and credit cards. I then began to suffer from depression. I was put onto medication and struggled to function in day to day life, began drinking and experimenting with drugs. This, of course, compounded the issue, I even became suicidal. It was about this time that I met some people at work that were about my age with similar interests, but the seemed different. I began to spend time with them and soon found they attended Revival Centres International. I became curious and began asking questions and attending Young Peoples. While spending time with these new friends, I found that I was not reliant on anti depressants. These mates kept witnessing to me and I decided to challenge the Lord to prove what they were showing me in the Bible. I decided to get baptised. While in the baptismal tank I said to the Lord, "This is your one and only chance" and sure enough, within seconds I had received the Holy Spirit. Depression instantly left me, I was healed of a condition with my eyes and have been blessed in too many ways to mention here! Praise the Lord!

Matt V

picG'day I'm Mat and I have a lot to thank the Lord for. The most important thing is when i was 9 I received the Holy Spirit and I knew this because I spoke in tongues. I knew God was real and he cared about me. This experience has never left me and I can always call on the Lord whenever I need. The Lord has helped me with everything in my life. School was never any trouble for me as long as I asked the Lord for a hand. With work, I've never been without employment and the Lord has healed my body several times much faster that it should have healed, and protected me countless other times where situations could have been a whole lot worse. One example is electrocution, one two occasions I've been electrocuted to the point of losing skin on my hands but no other ill effects. Praise the Lord.
